I love risotto. It’s one of those comforting dishes that you can enjoy pretty much all year long...
I love a weekend that has the perfect balance of productivity and tranquility. When you get to spend time with friends and family, forget all your troubles, get things done around the house and still have some quiet time left just for yourself...
We've already had a post on how to make stock, the kitchen staple I refuse to substitute with a store-bought product. Yes, I'm fussy like that, but once you read the labels and taste the stuff that comes in the box and compare it with the homemade version, it's just a no-brainer.
This has become my go-to hairdo for all occasions- I absolutely love it. I also noticed that it was all over the red carpet during this entire award season. It’s elegant, feminine and surprisingly easy to create...

Hello ladies & gentlemen! The 20th of December of last year my 3rd baby boy, Adai, was born and for the past 2 months we have been thoroughly enjoying our latest addition to the family. It is really precious to see him smile and 'chat' with his big brothers and I have been cocooning as much as possible (clients were already calling me 2 weeks after he was born) as I really wanted to enjoy this special time.
Tart and sweet, these tiny and tasty little berries, which I have just recently discovered thanks to NaturaFoodsMarket, have now become a must-have snack to have around the house. Either eaten straight from the bag or mixed in a trail mix of nuts and seeds, mulberry is a delicious bite-size snack which, although small in size, offers huge amounts of health benefits.
Am I wrong, or did the Oscars feel much longer than usual last night? I love, love Ellen and I think she did a great job so it’s disappointing to hear critics saying that she didn’t perform as well as expected, but in her defense, hosting an event that long, under that amount of pressure, cannot be easy. And c’mon, the epic ‘selfie’ that crashed Twitter, and having Brad Pitt passing the plates for the pizza were pretty memorable moments that only Ellen could deliver.
I can’t wait for the Academy Awards this Sunday (hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, I love her!). There were so many great movies this year (with great talents involved) that it will be interesting to see who’ll get chosen as ‘the best’. Of course, I’m also anxious to see what the Red Carpet will bring, as we all know that the stars save their very best for last.
Due to a minor scheduling (and re-scheduling) problem, we had to skip last week’s ‘Get The Look’ post in order to have one for you this week. I think that for the next couple of months we’ll probably have to give you 2 per month, instead of the 4 we were doing before. Once things get back to normal (hopefully soon), we’ll most definitely resume with our previous set-up.
