I decided to do a little giveaway as a token of my appreciation for all of you. Because, let’s be honest, you are our inspiration and, ultimately, what makes this blog what it is.
According to Pantone, Radiant Orchid is "an enchanting harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones that inspires confidence and emanates great joy, love and health."
Today I want to share with you my most recent collaboration with Alessa Designs which benefits Fundaniñas- a nonprofit organization here in Guatemala that provides a permanent home to abused, abandoned and "high risk" girls...
Today’s post is going to be very brief. Being the first day of detox week (after Thanksgiving and this past weekend, it’s very much needed)...

And just like that, we say good-bye to the first week of December. I can’t complain, though, as I am kind of looking forward to Christmas this year. Not to mention that for the first time in our 8 years together, my husband and I have decided to travel for New Years- to go somewhere fun with a couple of close friends. And boy, am I looking forward to that!
Although recently most identified with vintage Versace, the baroque print actually originated during the renaissance period, in the 17th century, with the purpose of creating drama, conveying extravagance, luxury and grandeur.
Remember how I told you that I had a couple of exciting collaborations to share with you this week? Well, this is one of them!
It all started with a simple incentive of working together. Collaborating on something, anything, perhaps even next year. Until, a simple idea that made a whole lot of sense came to mind.
I absolutely love Pinterest. Not only for all the fantastic images that get pinned every day by some truly great talents that are an inspiration to me, but also for the many words I get to see. Many times, I will see a quote that will inspire me, make me think or just simply make me smile. They're little reminders of why you work as hard as you do. Little reminders to enjoy life to its fullest, and little reminders that you are human, just as everybody else.
This Thanksgiving was a very special one for my husband and I. Not only did we have a number of things to be thankful for, we got to celebrate it in the company of those closest and most intimate to us whom have been by our side through our ups and downs, helping us, supporting us, and challenging us along the way. Making sure we knew we were never alone in the moments we needed them most.
It was a small gathering, just how we like it. And it was a lot of fun.
