I can’t believe we’ve already completed 5 weeks of training. It’s crazy how fast time goes by when you’re focused and busy preparing for something you consider important and, well, enjoy. This week we were prepared to log our highest number of kilometers yet, but since a cold hit me unexpectedly throughout the end, I had to slow down and rest.
Here’s what happened:
Since I spent all weekend at home in pajamas, resting and trying to kick this cold’s butt, I have no “Look of The Day” for you this week. However, because I still want to give you a fashion post, I thought this could be the perfect excuse for me to share one of my latest style crushes, someone whom I’ve been secretly stalking in Instagram for about…6 months.
I am no expert when it comes to hair tools. I have owned a couple of flat irons in the past and currently possess an inexpensive curling iron (I can’t curl my hair with a flat iron for the life of me), but none have gotten very much use. Whenever I have to style my hair myself, I always, always end up turning to my hair dryer. You can’t mess up with a hair dryer, can you?
So, if you asked me whom I’d call if I weren’t an interior designer myself—and if I had all the money in the world—and were in the possession of a fantastic, yet empty home in need of decorating, well, Maria Lládo would be on my list!
Our weekend was pretty low-key. We went for our runs, stocked up on groceries, tried a couple of new recipes and even caught up on Game of Thrones (we love!) and watched a movie (The Monuments Men, please watch!). We wanted to lay low because we both had started to feel what seemed like the first symptoms of the flu coming, so we stayed in, rested as much as possible and gave our immune systems a boost with lots of fruits, tea and superfoods.
