We've already had a post on how to make stock, the kitchen staple I refuse to substitute with a store-bought product. Yes, I'm fussy like that, but once you read the labels and taste the stuff that comes in the box and compare it with the homemade version, it's just a no-brainer.
This has become my go-to hairdo for all occasions- I absolutely love it. I also noticed that it was all over the red carpet during this entire award season. It’s elegant, feminine and surprisingly easy to create...
For today, I wanted to show you some pictures of one of the major trends for this year: botanical prints. As I shared in one of my posts last year, one of the great inspirers of this world is, without a doubt, nature itself...
Tart and sweet, these tiny and tasty little berries, which I have just recently discovered thanks to NaturaFoodsMarket, have now become a must-have snack to have around the house...

I am a strong believer in natural remedies, so, naturally, when I got that strange rash on my face after returning from our trip to Mexico, I went online on a mad search for a natural and effective treatment that could minimize the redness, itchiness and breakouts while also taking care of the rash itself. What I found to be the best solution (besides eliminating certain foods from my diet)? Tea tree oil.
How cool is this? I have just found out that designer Mara Hoffman, creator of some of the brightest and most beautiful bohemian patterns in the industry (in my opinion), was right here…in our neck of the woods!
Hoffman and her family have just spent a short vacation traveling around Guatemala. Lake Atitlan, she says, being one of the most beautiful places she has ever seen. Coming from a designer who finds inspiration by traveling around the world, this is one statement we should feel very proud of!
It felt so good to go for an early morning run today. God knows I’ve missed it! Recovery is absolutely crucial for your body, especially after running a marathon, so we actually haven’t been able to run as much as we’re used to ever since we returned from Orlando. However, the days that we do get out there, I feel renewed, lighter, more focused and a million times more relaxed- even if it’s only for 6-8 kilometeres at a time. It’s amazing what a little exercise can do to your body…and your mind. Don’t you agree?
Today we’re feeling pretty casual. After a productive and very organized last few days, I feel that I’ve earned to sit back and kick my feet up for a bit.
Since I’ve been in a very informal mood lately, I decided that this week’s ‘Get The Look’ should be in harmony with how I feel. Now, I am not one to feel too comfortable with wearing anything on my head, but I loved this fedora so much that I just had to give it a try- and honestly? I’m starting to get used to it. As a matter of fact, I’ve already worn it twice since this shoot.
As I told you last week, my first couple of days on the ‘Elimination Diet’ was absolute torture. But now that the hard part is over and I have been slowly reintroducing the foods I eliminated back into my diet, I have to say that I have never felt better!
