Happy New Year, everyone! Gosh, it has been a while, hasn’t it? I know that, to some of you, it appears as if I suddenly “disappeared” out of nowhere. But in reality, I was never fully gone.
I am not one to cook with tofu that much. Even though we buy the organic and non-GMO kind, it is still a processed food so we try to keep it to a bare minimum. However, when I do decide to include some tofu in our diet, it must be absolutely packed with flavor.
In sync with Barbara's renowned love for food and all things vegan, I am finding myself looking more and more towards just buying and eating unprocessed foods.
I am not going to lie, it’s been a tough couple of weeks. My husband and I have been trying to re-adjust back to life—back to our normal routine—but no matter how much we try, we never seem to get back there…

Hello ladies, sorry if I seem a bit distant lately. We're just a few days away from the blog's Launch Party, so I have been running around like crazy trying to get everything done. It's been really hectic...you have no idea! I apologize!
This past Sunday, one of our friends, Cristina, threw a super adorable baby shower for our good friend Checho. Everything was so cute, I just had to share the pictures Checho posted on her own blog with you girls!
You see, our friend Cristina is a super detailed- oriented party planner who always does an amazing job at entertaining. I remember when we used to have our "get- togethers" at her house in Boston, everything looked (and tasted) absolutely perfect! Proving that It's truly amazing to have a chef amongst your friends!
