My passion for red nail polish is undeniable. I own several different shades of red, and I wear each and every single one of them religiously. You can even say it's a trademark of mine, and I have no intention of changing it any time soon.
Trust me, I try to be more adventurous with my nail color. When shopping for new shades (an addiction of mine, I admit) I always make an effort to buy more browns, more purples - heck, even more grays and blacks - but no matter how hard I try to take the risk, I always return to my comfort zone: the reds.
It's nothing new that fashion in Brazil is a pretty big deal. So big, we actually have two major cities that hold the country's (and possibly South America's) most important fashion weeks: Sao Paulo & Rio de Janeiro.
I have the most wonderful news (one I KNOW you have all been waiting for!), Gisa's photographer - Altare - sent me Gisa's wedding pictures to share with you all! Now, there were SO MANY beautiful pictures it was really hard to choose which ones to post here. No matter how hard I tried to keep the number of pictures chosen to a minimal amount, I still ended up choosing way too many. So to make things easier, I have decided to divide the pictures into 3 posts: the rehearsal dinner, the wedding part 1 & the wedding part 2.
Good morning, ladies! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, and that you've all recharged your batteries to battle yet another week.
Yesterday was a really good day for us. We woke up early, got ready, went out for brunch and did everything we had to do before 3:00pm, which is very unusual for us. With so much time left in the day, the hubby took advantage of it to get caught up with some work and I used the cloudy and rainy weather as an excuse to relax and watch movies. Love it!
This picture was circulating around Facebook this week, and I thought it was so inspiring that I had to share it with you.
So, another week has passed at what felt like a blink of an eye. It was a confusing week...I got some of the days mixed up (don't you hate when that happens?), and was filled with a roller coaster of different overwhelming emotions. But overall, I think it was a great week.
And I FINALLY took down all of our Christmas decorations (a little late, I know!) Now the house looks empty and kind of sad, actually! - A reminder that I still have lots to accomplish decorating-wise.
Just in case you haven't heard, Guatemalan designer Juan Carlos Quintana, who is now a successful London-based couturier and founder of Quintana Couture, will be returning to his home country for a few days in the month of February (February 4th - 28th to be exact).
We have probably been told at least once in our lives (maybe by our grandmothers) that we should never, ever, wear stockings with open toe shoes.
And although I agree with grandma to some degree (open toe shoes with NUDE stockings look far from fabulous), I have to say that there are definitely exceptions to this rule.
Aerin Lauder, as in the heir of the Estee Lauder empire, has not one, but TWO absolutely stunning vacation homes of her own. One in the snowy mountains of Aspen, and the other in a prestigious neighborhood in the Hamptons. Very fitting for someone as fabulous as her.
