The couple of days prior to going to the beach house is always very tumultuous. We have to create organized menus for the housekeeper, figure out car logistics, go grocery shopping, pack the food we're going to take, and because we don't leave any personal items in our rooms over there, we also have to pack for ourselves...and the dogs.
Girls, meet my 2012 "everyday" eyeshadow palette, Les Fumés by Guerlain. You probably have noticed that I don't like to wear heavy makeup during the day, especially on my eyes.
Good morning, ladies! I hope you had a truly wonderful Holiday and that Santa brought you lot's of exciting gifts!

For me, the holidays is synonymous to entertaining. And because of that, I think it's absolutely crucial to create an environment that is inviting, warm and cheerful. And since we're hosting Christmas at our place once again this year, when I was deliberating what I wanted my Christmas table to look like, I realized that I wanted it to represent just that: a warm, inviting and joyful celebration with the family.
