You know...I'm finding that the more I decorate my house, the more I end up learning about myself. Now, instead of searching for temporary items that I might want to replace later, I search for items that are special and that will transform my house into a "home." I'm definitely thinking of a "family" environment, if that makes any sense.
Are you entertaining this Christmas? Having the family over for Christmas Eve? Well, then you must know that your table has to look fabulous for this special occasion!
Starting this week, due to reader request, I'll be posting different outfit ideas for the upcoming holidays. I'll be doing this once a week only, so I hope I can inspire many of you into looking fabulous this holiday season!
I've never believed in coincidence. From experience, I've learned that everything in life happens for a reason. So when I received last week's newsletter from GOOP, Gwyneth Paltrow's blog (highly recommend), I felt it was being written directly to me.
I know I've judged others in the past, we all have, but I noticed that the happier I started to feel with myself, and the more I learned to accept and love myself, the less judgemental I became.
I haven't worn this blazer since the blog's Launch Party. I really, really love it, but for some reason I never came across an occasion where I felt it was appropriate. I mean, it's super pink. It screams "girly" and let's face it, it's really hard not to be noticed when you're wearing something so...bright.
This week has been one crazy week for us. With Gisa's wedding, our anniversary, my little "operation," the trip to the beach house (we're here at the moment, relaxing) and Thanksgiving dinner, our "errands list" seemed never-ending. I'm just glad it's over.
And to finally be able to sleep past 6:00am.
I think the whole world can agree that Camilla Belle is absolutely drop-dead gorgeous! She has this rare, exotic, engaging, natural, mysterious "thing" that I find captivating. I mean, just look at those eyebrows! And when she pairs those fabulous eyebrows of hers with a sexy red lipstick - Hello! Everyone probably stops and stares! (C'mon, I know you do it!)
She's just gorgeous!
I love eclectic and creative spaces. They are so..."cool." You automatic feel happy, laid back and inspired when you walk into them. When I think of "eclectic & creative" I imagine a really cool loft in Soho in New York...I don't know why. Wouldn't that be divine? Gosh, that would be a dream!
I know you have all been dying to see pictures of Gisa's wedding day. Sadly, I could not take my camera to take pics of all the details for you girls. I was the maid-of-honor, and as you know, my camera is enormous...so I could not carry it to the church with me. Neither could my hubby (he was also in the wedding party.)
